Scope Of Work

NMDC was awarded the dredging, reclamation and marine works for the New Fishing Port then being constructed next to Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, by the Abdu Dhabi Ports Compnay (ADPC). This port complimented the need to develop the existing location of its fleet at Abu Dhabi’s Mina Zayed Port. The fleet and related services was relocated to this new port. NMDC’s scope of work included the dredging of approximately 600,000 cubic meters of suitable material which was used to develop the port, soil improvement though vibro-compaction, and the installation of approximately 800 meters of pre-cast quay wall.
